Yes, I know I have not posted in quite some time......I've been busy since I got back from CA, and my computer is on its last legs (overheating). I am still not proficient yet at using my iPad to post to my blogs, so I use the computer in short bursts to catch up.
I haven't been doing much crafting, lately just not in the mood. I am somewhat back into knitting, here are pictures of my two latest efforts. This first shawl is done in black cotton yarn from Knit Picks, and will be my "go to" summer shawl for when it gets cool in an air conditioned restaurant or at the movies:
I started this purple shawl a couple weeks ago with the intention that it was going to be a gift. Purple heather yarn (sorry about the picture quality, cloudy day) from Knit Picks. I was making it for someone who is rather short, so would look better in a crescent shawl. However, the shawl ended up being much bigger than I anticipated (and said on the pattern), so it is going to go in my shawl stash to wear when it gets cooler.
It's a cloudy, later to be stormy day here in NC, we need the rain, but it messes up getting in the outdoor pool to work out! That's ok, I've already been to the gym today. Hope everyone is having a great week, stay safe and stay hydrated in this heat and humidity!
